Wente Vineyards is California's oldest family owned and continuously operated winery. Founded in 1883 by C. H. Wente, the winery is now managed by the fourth and fifth generations of the Wente family. The winery farms nearly 3,000 acres of estate vineyards in the Livermore Valley, San Francisco Bay, and Arroyo Seco, Monterey appellations, two premier Central Coast winegrowing regions.

Our Estate Tasting Room, located at the historic Estate Winery, offers complementary and paid tastings seven days a week and free winery tours daily.

Our Vineyard Tasting Room, located adjacent to our Restaurant, Golf Course and Event Center, offers paid tastings seven days a week and is open daily from 11:00am to 6:30pm. We also offer a private tasting experience in our historic wine caves by appointment only.
Due to occasional winery operations (especially during harvest and post-harvest time), winery tours are subject to availability and may occasionally be cancelled or modified as required.
